The Grid Community Guidelines

 

Our communities aim to provide safe, supportive environments for people who wish to discuss issues and questions relevant to these communities with other members of the communities, in order to receive help, support, answers and opinions regarding those issues and questions.

By joining any of our communities, you automatically agree to follow the guidelines listed below. It is highly recommended that you read them before posting:

1. The advice in our communities does not substitute medical advice and should never be treated as such. When health professionals post tips or advice on the community wall, it should never be treated as a decisive medical opinion or as a specific personal recommendation. Please see or consult your doctor about any condition, question or problem you may have.

2. Only members of the community may view its contents. We ask you to respect our privacy policy and the sensitivity of the topics discussed in our communities, and not to share or publish community-related contents outside the community in any way, for any use, including by way of forwarding, copy-pasting, screenshots, etc.

3. We believe in scientifically proven means and methods (including evidence-based alternative therapy) and ask our community members not to promote methods that have not been proven as such.

4. As stated above, evidence-based alternative treatments are acceptable, however, they should never be presented as other than alternative or supplementary treatments. Any alternative treatment that is presented as "the main/only treatment required", or a similar phrasing of the same nature, and encourages patients to give up proven and / or prescribed medicine will be immediately banned from the communities.

5. Please mind your language, respect other members of the communities, and be sensitive to others' opinions. We do not tolerate criticism regarding gender, color, religion, weight, looks, life choices, nutritional choices, etc. Here we always believe the victim and never judge, as a rule.

6. You are asked not to send private messages to members before requesting and receiving permission to do so on the community screen. Often, members who share their sensitive situation of information are not interested in talking about their issues in private and might be embarrassed or hurt by such messages.

7. We forbid privately messaging community members with advertising services, products or supplements on private messaging. Any reports of such activity done by user or Traders will lead to an immediate block from all services of the Grid. Please report to us immediately if you encounter such behavior. We wish to maintain a supportive and trusting environment, and the spamming of other community members never helps create such atmosphere. Advertising in any other part of The Grid is available for all.

8. Discussions will take place on the community screen, for the benefit of everyone. Please don't address professionals in the community with questions in private messages.

9. We warmly accept healthcare professionals to our community as advisers. If you are such a health professional, please share your expertise and profession at the end of the message when participating in discussions.

10. The community wall is also no place for politics, violence, illegal use of substances or subscription medicines, pyramid schemes, MLMs, various protests, religions, surveys, etc. Food supplements, hemp and cannabis products, discussion regarding combination of extra care with regular medical regimen are more than welcome.

11. Community members will have no claim, right, demand or argument of any kind against the community, its admins, moderators, or the Grid team regarding any use they decide to make with the contents of this community at their sole discretion.

12. In the Grid communities, we treat hemp and cannabis and their products as extra care, since they are not a drug. This, following extensive researches on this topic. Any reference to hemp and cannabis and their products as a drug, and to the consumers of such products as "drug addicts", will be handled according to the sole discretion of the Grid's administration.

13. Last but not least - treat your community admin with kindness, respect and refrain from being aggressive, demanding or any misconduct according to these rules. The community admin is there to make sure everything runs smoothly for every patient seeking company.

The Grid team and the community admins and moderators reserve the right to delete posts and comments, to remove and/or block members from the communities, at our sole discretion, if we find that they harm the communities or ignore the guidelines. As we prefer to avoid such cases, we kindly ask you to follow the guidelines, and if something is unclear, don't hesitate to ask the admins via private messages before posting. Please respect these communities and their guidelines, and help us make the Grid communities a beneficial and safe space for all of us.
